I never write reviews but CYA went the extra mile (literally). I live in a remote area and generally have a very hard time finding qualified service technicians. They advertised factory-authorized service for my location so I signed up with CYA in September and gave them a shot. 6 months later my hot water heater started leaking and I set up a claim.

1st off whats nice is they had trained technicians that answer the phones so they helped me contain the problem while the service was being set up. I got a call the following day from CYA letting me know the manufacturer did have a service technician 115 miles away and he can come to service my location in 2 days. The technician showed up on time and was extremely professional. It took about 2 hours to repair the tank and I was good to go.

The reason I wrote the review is because when I was talking to the technician I found out that CYA paid him an additional $250 mileage fee just to service my area. I definitely appreciate the service and was very happy to have everything covered under my plan without getting hit up with additional expenses.

I have had other home warranties over the years and decided to give CYA a shot because they had great reviews. My fridge was not cooling and I am running a household with 3 little kids, 1 of which needs refrigerated medicine on a regular basis. I immediately called in the claim and explained the situation. Spoke to Alice who was fantastic. She understood the situation completely and even had little children of her own, she really took care of everything A-Z.

The 1st available service appointment was 2 days out, she pointed out that my policy covers food spoilage, rentals and other benefits. She right away instructed me to go to Best Buy and reimbursed me for a mini-fridge to take care of my son’s meds and basic essentials. The service center came out as promised and repaired the Kitchenaid fridge, they just needed a new fan which he had on the truck.

I was pleasantly surprised to finally deal with a company that delivered what they promised and grateful to deal with Alice who was kind, considerate and understanding, thank you!
